Compassionate Support
Working with me is about creating space, a space to understand, to slow things down, and to make sense of what can often feel overwhelming or confusing.
At A Regulated Family, I support children, adults, and parents who are navigating neurodivergence, whether that is through a formal diagnosis, a late discovery, or a growing sense of self-understanding. Many of the people I work with are carrying a questions, pressure, exhaustion, and often a long history of feeling misunderstood. My role is to help bring clarity and practical support into your lived experience.
My approach is neuro affirming, compassionate, and relationship-based. I am not here to “fix” anyone. Instead, I work alongside you to understand your unique nervous system, highlight your strengths, and to support you in building a life that feels more sustainable and authentic.
For children, this often looks like fun, gentle exploration that helps them understand their brain, sensory needs, friendships, and experiences at home and school. For adults, it can be a space to unpack identity, unlearn masking, and reconnect with who you are underneath it all. I am also a sounding board for practical and emotional support, helping you navigate school systems, paperwork, diagnoses, and the day-to-day realities of supporting a neurodivergent child.
Above all, this is a space where you do not have to have the right words, the perfect explanation, or a clear plan before you arrive. We work it out together, in an indulgent space where you get to be completely you.
If you are looking for support that is grounded in lived experience, professional understanding, and genuine care, you are very welcome here, I’m thrilled we have found each other.
About me
Welcome to A Regulated Family
I’m Chloe and I am so excited you are here. You and your fabulously different brain are so welcome.
I’m a neurodivergent adult, mum, I’m also a specialist teacher, SENDCo, neurodiversity coach, and Drawing and Talking therapeutic practitioner.
I set up this space because I know what it feels like to be late diagnosed, in charge of young people navigating their own unique brain, and the system feels confusing, overwhelming, and at times completely inaccessible.
My approach is neuro affirming and relationship-based. Through my work with children and young people, I help families make sense of behaviour, sensory needs, communication, friendships, and emotional regulation in a way that feels compassionate and practical.
I also support late-diagnosed and self-identified adults who are beginning to understand themselves after years of masking. This process can feel both relieving and unsettling, and it helps to have someone alongside you who gets it.
For parents and carers, I offer guidance in navigating school systems, understanding reports and processes, and feeling more confident in conversations with professionals. I can also support with paperwork and applications, which can often feel like a barrier when you are already stretched thin.
Most importantly, my work is about creating a safe space where you can be fully yourself and explore your identity with confidence and pride.
My hope is that the families I work with are able to move towards lives that feel huge, bold, and beautifully their own.
